Road Tripping

01

Busy Bee loves to take pictures and videos of people at the events. They are shared on the Busy Bee Hive Forum with other guests, included in our end-of-year yearbook, and utilized to promote future field trips. It is included in the checkout and reminder emails. It is also here for your accessibility.

Please read and complete prior to every event.

03

At Busy Bee I strive to schedule field trips that will both engage the learning and social needs of our kiddos. The information obtained is used strictly to help me with planning future trips and educational offerings, while including family dynamics and needs. This form does not need to be completed more than once.

02

Busy Bee does not provider chaperones for students on field trips. Every student must have an adult (18 years of age or older) accompany them from arrival to departure.

Please read and complete this form prior to every event.

04

Please share how your field trip experience went, areas that I can improve on, things you would like to see again, or any recommendations for future field trips.

Please complete this after your field trip.

Field Trip Family Demographics Forms

Please complete this form to help us plan better field trips.

Field Trip Demographics

In an effort to plan field trips around specific age groups, and to meet the needs of the kids attending the field trips, please share information about the ages of children in your group.

Many programs are geared towards specific age groups, and this helps me to provide the number of leaders needed at our events.

Ages in Your Group

Please share the ages of the kids in your family or group. This helps to plan educational programs for our groups.

I am planning field trips in the Leon, Marion, St. John's, and Palm Beach Counties. Please share your county so we can travel to your area!

Field Trip Chaperone Form

Chaperones will be defined as any adult, 18 years of age or older, who attends an event with anyone under the age of 18 years.

Busy Bee Homeschool Hive does not provide chaperone(s) on their hosted field trips.

A parent/caregiver must attend every event with their child(ren), from start to finish of the field trip.

**An exception applies to this only during certain educational classes/tours, and will be detailed in each event listing.

We require that a minimum of one adult per 10 children attend in their personal group. We will not permit a group to book a field trip for their family/group, without one adult per 10 children.

This is a standard requirement of both Busy Bee Homeschool Hive, and the majority of the locations that we visit.

Transportation will not be provided by Busy Bee Homeschool Hive, to or from the events. Parents/caregivers must arrange transportation for their child(ren).

**Exception- Some field trips include educational labs/classes. The hosting location's chaperone policy will be adhered to during their team-led events. This means that some locations only allow a maximum number of adults to join the learners in the educational class. During that time, attending chaperones may either:

1- Remain on the property and enjoy the exhibits, while they wait for their learner to rejoin them.

-OR-

2- Join their learner in the lab/class by requesting/ purchasing a lab chaperone ticket. Quantities are limited.

During the designated lab/class, the hosting location staff will provide instructors during the assigned class time only. Following the class/lab, the attending chaperone will be required to resume full responsibility for their children/ learner(s).

If an adult chooses to join a class/lab during a field trip as a chaperone, they assume the role of assisting all children in the group with the activity.

I have read and agree to the Busy Bee Homeschool Hive Chaperone Policy.
